"Masks Drum Words" Workshop - The Drawing Room Project

An exercise in rhythm and words;  this workshop explores aspects of creating, the impact of colour, texture and sound, as layered constructs that apply to the creation of a rhythm and the writing of a poem

Drums, percussion instruments, paint and mask making materials will be provided

The Jamaica International Reggae Film Festival, being held August 1-5, 2013 at Island Village in Ocho Rios, in response to requests, will be facilitating a book fair on Sunday, August 4th from 10 am to 4:30 pm. 

Authors and craft vendors will be able to rent a table and a chair for  $1,000 for the day.

Celebrating of Transparency International’s 20th anniversary is this youth writing competition, youth photo competition as well as live events around the world – all to raise awareness about the corrosive problem of corruption and how it can be tackled.

Corruption ruins people’s livelihoods – and even kills. However, this problem can be stopped. So we want to hear how you think corruption can be tackled with the following theme: What can young people do to stop corruption?
