As part of Kingston Book Festival 2013, this Primary School Children's Tour – Look Behind the Book aims to introduce children to the world of books and the publishing landscape.  The tour will include meeting with authors and illustrators; visits to publishing company, printer, bookstore, library.

JIPO's Voluntary Copyright Registration System & NLJ's Legal Deposits Collection - Differences explained

In December 2012, the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO) launched its Voluntary Copyright Registration System to protect the rights of the creators in their works as well as to enhance their contribution to the cultural and economic development of Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
