UNESCO International Literacy Prizes 2013: Call for Nominations

With its commitment to supporting effective literacy policies and programmes, UNESCO honours excellence and innovation in the field of literacy throughout the world. Every year, on the occasion of International Literacy Day (8th September), its International Literacy Prizes are awarded to institutions, organizations and individuals whose efforts contribute to the promotion of dynamic literate societies.

This year will be the second staging of the R&D Chess Tournament and driven by the slogan "Where Every Child is a Winner" it promises to be even bigger & better than last year. There will be more than 60 trophies and medals to be won, gift vouchers, gift baskets, a tablet for the winner plus other prizes.
