This lecture will speak to  Scottish involvement across the island during that period, the implications for the economic development of Scotland, with a focus on Glasgow as the premier Atlantic Port; as well as the lack of acknowledgement in Scotland today about its colonial past.

The presenter will be Mr. Stephen Mullen, PhD candidate at the University of Glasglow.
