Mexican-American musician Rodriguez lived an anonymous life in Detroit as a construction worker. Back in the early 1970s he recorded two albums that were complete flops in the USA while unknown to Rodriguez in South Africa he was considered a superstar. This is the story of the search for the mysterious man. Winner of a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
