This film tells the story of a group of close-knit Parisian friends who have one of their group end up in hospital after a near fatal accident while the rest go on their annual vacation. The shallow relationships that exist among the group are put to the test as they start to realise how self-centered they are.

They were high school sweethearts and got married young but now they are about to get divorced. Sometimes it appears that they are trying too hard to maintain their friendship as they start to see other people. The changes are quite turbulent but sometimes a bit funny too in this comedy-drama.

Lying in bed waiting to die, we see his life in flashback to understand why he made such a decision. Made by the same director who had the animation film hit Persepolis.

Based on the actual events involving the British Princess Caroline after she marries the mentally ill King Christian VII of Denmark in 1767. She develops a close friendship with the political idealist Johann Struensee who is also the private doctor of the king. This allows for some of the most progressive changes of the time in Denmark but there is a price to pay.

Like 'The Artist', this film is a black & white silent film made recently. Loosely based on the Snow White story, it takes place in Seville, Spain back in the 1920s. There is an evil step mother and dwarves but there is bullfighting to add a Spanish touch. Winner of 10 Spanish Goya Awards including Best Film.
