The Drawing Room Project will be hosting a three day Writers Retreat (Genre: poetry), at “Country Thyme” for new to early and mid-career writers. Our Mentor will be Christine Craig, author of All Things Bright &Quadrille For Tigers, Peepal Tree Press, 2011. She is praised for her flair for language, evocative descriptions of the Jamaican landscape, and dramatic imagery of the poignancy and pain of life for many Jamaican women.
Blossom O'Meally-Nelson presents "Heart Song: Poems of my transformation" Dr. Blossom O’Meally-Nelson is an educator, social entrepreneur and business professional. For seventeen years she was the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council for the University of Technology, Jamaica. She was the first female Postmaster General for Jamaica.

Starlight Performers was founded by Coswell Barnett and Marvin Minott, two visually impaired gentlemen, in September 2010. They have performed at several educational, cultural and religious events hosted by various organizations. Most notably, Calabash Literacy Festival in 2012.
