Tanya Davies is a writer/producer/director (writing being her first love) of several short television screenplays.
Her credits include the feature length screenplay “Maroon” an action/adventure story of a woman of Maroon heritage forced to use the resourcefulness of her legacy to counter mercenaries ordered to kill her.
A co-creator and writer of the Guardian Life GSAT television serial "A-Graders" in 2008 which still has significant air-time.
She studied Film and Television Production at the recognized art university Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and graduated with Highest Honours. Three years later she pursued her area of preference, Screenwriting, at the Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California.
Tanya minored with a certificate in Teaching at Tertiary/Community College Level at the California State University –Dominguez Hills. She interned for six months at the Los Angeles City College Cinema Department as Assistant Professor and taught Introduction to Screenwriting.
